LOL nice idea!

I have never made a card in my life but would love to have a go!

Whats a topper?

Toppers are pre made embellishments for cards....you buy them and just stick em on a card.....the MN card makers DO NOT do this.

these are toppers

it's a ready mead decoration that may have a square of paper/card as a base...and then decorated with say holly....flowers....ballons etc....the whole thing is then stuck on a card.

I'm up for this. Guess I'd be in the Us team.

I'd love to join in if you can delay it for a while. Moving in a few weeks so have to get the packing done.
I'm a horribley competitive person so doing it half heartedly would kill me.

Maybe next time.

I'm a 'them' - count me in

pootlepod · 05/11/2005 16:32

I'm in- under the us

Think we need to add a disclaimer that there will be no recompense for 'thems' that become addicted afterwards.

Count me in as an us!
Although I have lots of stock to clear I can just about force myself to make something different !!!!!

.....wondering if the 'Us's' should supply the basic materials...as assuming the 'THEMS' are total newbies...they may have NOTHING and not a clue where to start!!!!

MrsFrostgetful · 05/11/2005 16:43

meant to say...can we buddy up....and if so can i have COD!!!!!!

Nope Cod.....you will upload your own creation into the gallery.....details how to do this will be posted when it gets closer to the time

Mrs F.....Im sure the newbies are able to get their hands on some bits and pieces to make card with.....this test their ability to be creative with what resources they have at hand.

At this time of year there are lots of different wrapping papers and christmassy bits avaialble in most stores, that can be used to make a card. This is a challenge after all

off to raid the kids craft box and to look online for some bits and pieces.

Report
WigWamBam · 05/11/2005 17:30

Ohhhhh ... I'd love to have a go but I'm hopelessly uncrafty!

Ah, go on ... put me in for the Thems please.

Report
pootlepod · 05/11/2005 17:57

ELC, poundland-type shops and bargain book-type shops are also good places to pick up cheap crafting bits.

If you don't get addicted then the kids can have them

Report
hunkermunker · 05/11/2005 18:11

I'd like to do this - can you put me down in the "us" category, please?
