They are lovely.....really liked the cat ones. Loved the handbags...dont like the lingerie ones, not because they arent nice....I just dont like cards like that.
The happy birthday ones are really simple but look so effective.

Well done and wishing you loads of luck.

Hi Dior,I,m really impressed with your cards.I do like them a lot. What I did notice though is you have quite a few that are just matting and layering with a plain backgound. And although I love that style it's very much been done.So I would just send in your best ones in that style and not all of them if you see what I mean.I hope you don't mind me being honest.

I'm afraid I really don't like the lingere ones either but that's because I always have not liked that sort of thing. So maybe just send in one of those cos I know a lot of people do like them as I see them a lot.

I loved the cat ones really lovely with the gems and the wording.I loved what you did with the one where the shape around the cat is a bit different.Your colours are great. But on some of the cards I'd love to see some funky paper down one side of the card say like some doodlebug paper.Stamping Caz always seems to go for that kind of thing and I think they'll be lloking for some funky paper on them. But maybe you've put some in somewhere but I'll just go back and check a minute.

I thought the ones with the ric rac effect on them are brill definately go with that!Maybe you could add a little shrink plastic bone onto the doggie one just on the corner.Or a paw print or two.But other than that they're fab and I can see you've had fun doing them it shows.Really good luck.Hope you don't mind my long essay on them LOl.

The cat stamp is cute and I like how you have used it so differently. My favourite has to be the handbags - I love how you have repeated this and even fit bits to the corners etc. My other two favs were the simple happy birthday one with the purple jewels and the blue birthday boy one. They are so simple yet so effective. After reading Layla's comments, I would suggest that you have a play around with backing papers sometime too. I think that you will definately hit the target market with the designs you intend to submit though - quick cards which you can make easily! Good luck

Hi Dior, thanks for letting us know the outcome. But don't give up will you, they're definate;ly good enough. How about trying papercraft inspirations?I think they are one of the friendliest magazines and they seem to use a lot of different people with new ones popping up all the time.

Oh good for you Dior.Keep at it and let us know.I'd have a go myself but don't think I'd be able to have the time to do designing.I like my two jobs and I'm doing a course on woodcarving which I'm really keen on.But one day you never know.I 'll always love making cards too.

ok yes I will.Been for my second lesson today. There's so much to learn about different tools and stuff but it's becoming less baffling all the time.I'm reading up on it too from various books and I've had fun doing more work on my lovespoon today. And I've started making a mini one too.
