here

My user name over there is ellsese.

I joined up a few months back and have been a secretlurker picking up tips and advice....well I finally took the plunge and started to post and I had a go at the comp....and Ive just found out that a photograph I submitted of DS2 has been shortlisted in to the top 20!!!!!
the photo is one of my favourites of J because its not very often that i can get him to let me take his photo....J has ASD and ADD...so getting him to sit still is impossible!

Having seen the other entries and being the new girl on the block I doubt I'll get very far but it was fun entering.

Aw that's lovely jayzmummy - it's actually a very good simple composition, and as kid says, very natural and unposed. Will keep my fingers crossed

Looking at it again, I can honestly say that in terms of composition and eyecatching-ness (yes, I know that's not a word!) I would have either voted for that one or jenihall's!

If you ever get bored of scrapbooking, do come over to Fotothing and put some more photos up

Brilliant photo!

I've just been showing my DH who dabbles in photography, explained that your DS doesn't like to have his photo taken, he didn't know if it would help but tells me that you can get some sort of mirror type thing (90 degree prisim attachment) for a 35 mil camera (doesn't know if you can get it for a digital) that would mean you could be pointing the camera to a different part of the room and because of the mirrors you could photograph your DS at the other side of the room. Don't know if that makes any sense. It might be helpful if he gets excited when you point the camera at him?

Gosh that sounds interesting....I'll ask my sister if she can get me one...she works for Kodak, so I get the odd freebie passed my way
