Has everyone spent a fortune

I made my Wedding Invites 5 years ago and 1st birthday invites for my DS. I didn't attempt to make anything else until I visited Hobbycraft about a year ago and realised that I could make cards without spending that much. Since then (4 months) I have spent about 300 quid. Is it me or is this as addictive as drugs. Every time we go to a new place I am itching to look at the craft shops stalls. I have only sold one card but have loads of gear. It's almost as if I am stocking up. And then when I get a new idea, I have to go and buy the new 'idea' stuff.

I completed an inventory two weeks ago of all my crafting materials and equipmentI had to hide the paperwork from DH when I added up how much I have spent over the last year.....you could buy a car for what I have spent!!!!

I know, I have just bought the sidekick as I went to HC (hobbycraft) in Basildon with DH good friend and he nearly passed out when he saw the big one was 139.99. Also when he saw dies.....Faint. So have only got sidekick! 35.00 off ebay.

But today I came back from visiting parents and they had a market and there was a craft stall....37.00 later... what could I do....I needed it. But DH would go mad if he knew.

I find myself justifying it with the fact that my M8 is setting up website but I think if her knew he would think I was on drugs.

i have loads and loads of stuff and havent made a card for months since the trouble with ds but i STILL buy more stuff.

I even went to Dawnn Bibbys shop the other day and spent over 30 quid on stuff-what for i dont know.

i know its an addiction though and its better tham throwing my money on fags or going out drinking every weekend so thats my justification for it
