For my sins am class rep this year. The class teacher from last year has been diagnosed with breast cancer (treatable hopefully). This years teacher has got the class to draw pictures and wants me to "do something artistic" with them for her.
Please help me here-have zero artistic/craft talent. All ideas welcome. Thanks

What are the pictures of? Is it for a particular topic?

6-7yr olds, I think pictures are of themselves.
Thanks

Have you to come up with a way to display them in class?

Have you seen the beatles Sergeant pepper album/CD cover? You could collage all the faces into a group and put a message for the teacher across the bottom

Or get them all to draw their faces, write their names underneath (for clarifcation!) and get it printed onto a tea towel. Collage sounds lovely though..

You could make up an album from thick card and put a few pics on each page with cut out paper frames around them. First page could be messages written by kids. Get them to do them on seperate bits of paper so you can edit out any that aren't suitable and arrange on page.

Does this years teacher want to give last years teacher a present of what the children the produce.
If so, what about a scrap book
Each child has a 12"x12" piece of paper or card and draw a picture of them selves they could add family pets or put pictures of their hobbies tell a story of their holidays, write a poem
You could then collate them and but them into a scrap book.
It doesn't have to been a dear one, you could decorate the front of the book youself with a picture of the school or somthing, a picture of all the teachers say
Just an idea

You can scan them into your PC and make a get well soon card.
