Harmony Test available at Royal Surrey Guildford

Hi everyone,

I see there is a lot more interest in the Harmony Test from a few months ago when I fell pregnant and wanted to share my experience.

I came across the Harmony Test by accident and sheer luck - being an anxious 'older' FTM, I was searching the internet for information on what the tests would involve and as most of my friends are younger mothers, they hadn't had any risks.

Luckily for us - we found Dr Lesley Roberts at Private Birth Surrey who works out of Royal Surrey Guildford where I will give birth. Dr Roberts has also worked under Professor Nikolaides the baby doctor guru.

Unfortunately the test is only available privately and is pricey - but it was a no brainer for us - a much wanted pregnancy that we didn't want to put at risk with CVS or Amnio tests. We will definitely do it again.

And for anyone who has had the test, I hope you have written to your local MPs telling them about the test!?!?! We need to drum up support for all future older/ at risk mothers to have free access to this test. The only way this will happen is if more women start demanding the test and people are made aware they have options.
