Hello all,
I need to have a CVS because of a 1 in 4 chance of passing on a genetic condition.
I've just been told that Barts Health is unable to book a CVS until after a dating scan at 11 weeks. This hasn't been my experience from previous pregnancies. Previously, I've been able to book the CVS btw 8-10 wks providing some certainty at least about the date of the test during a very anxious time.
Given that the CVS can't be done till after 11 wks, waiting till 11 wks to book may result in a delay till 12 or 13 wks depending on availability which will make a stressful time much worse.
Has anyone else been told this? Should I try contacting Royal London? Is there anyone here with recent experience at Royal London?
