Weird periods after TFMR

Hi everyone. Until recently I had fairly short cycles and a short luteal phase which meant AF arrived usually about 8 days after ovulation (cd 22/23). This has been for about 4 years since my eldest son was born. Back in February I had a TFMR. 4/5 weeks after that I had a period and then was expecting to be due on again if assuming a 28 day cycle last Friday. So based on my usual history AF would more than likely have arrived much before this. But other than some stringy brown blood (sorry!) I've had nothing. BFN negative but really confused, after years of short cycles I'm now late! Has a TFMR caused any changes for anyone else?

Hi LuckyAugust - sorry for your loss. I had a tfmr in January and my cycles are still a bit screwed up too. I think it's totally normal. From what I read your period can be different too - lighter/heavier so I wouldn't read too much into it. I don't know if you are ttc yet - I am and it makes it so much worse that everything seems to take so long to settle down. It's like a epic test of patience. Sorry not to be more helpful but I think what I am trying to say is - annoying but normal!

Thanks Monten. Af arrived full force this morning!! We are ttc again too and was hoping I was just going to get a late bfp - I've never been as late as this!. Never mind, onto next month. I think you're right about cycles being messed up too which will make it a pain. Thanks again for answering and hoping we'll have some success soon x Smile Wink
