This is my first pregnancy
And I've booked a private early scan for reassurance cause I'm petrified if I'm honest. I'm worries if I wait to the 12 week scan and nothing's there I'll be heart broken!
I have no bleeding or pains. And if I'm honest I feel fine other than being tired and a funny taste on my mouth don't really have any symptoms.
Just wanted to know if anyone's had an early scan and what did they see? From my calculations I'll be between 6+6 and 7+2 on the day of the scan .. Will I see anything or will it make me feel worse? They offer a free re-scan if it's too early.
I don't know why I'm so scared ! Xx

Hi cake.

Do you think you'd be able to wait until your approx 8 weeks. They probably will see something but there is a possibility that they don't because of it being so early it would make you even more anxious for more than likely no reason. However I have seen a heartbeat at a six week
Scan before.

Tiredness and that taste in your mouth are both symptoms
Of pregnancy.

Hi cakehan,
I am in the same boat as you as i mc'd in november my mind is all over the place just now. I reckon i am 4+5 but doc goes by an average cycle and calculates 6+3 so my scan shall be around 1st week in june for my 12 weeks but i will probably only be around 9-10 weeks then, so i was contemplating having an early scan as i have to pay 80 pound for it!! But i couldnt go the long hall again, but my family keep saying if its going to happen its going to happen there is nothing you can do about it whether you wait or have one early they are right but i am going insane here :(
How far on are you atm?
