Hi all,
My second baby is due in December and I have my dr appointment tomorrow. I know she's going to ask me which optical I'd like. All three of the above are quite local to me. I had my daughter at C&W and had a mixed experience. Not sure whether I want to go back.
Any opinions on any of these hospitals would be gratefully received. I will be having a c-section.
Thanks!!
Emma x

Hi. I had my DD (first baby) at Kingston in 2000 so goes without saying it may have changed an awful lot since then.... But I had a great experience there. Didn't have a c-section so again can't comment on that, but I received excellent care there, and was impressed by the standards of cleanliness, hygiene etc. I had my DS (second baby) at Stevenage, which was a very different experience - not good at all.... Had we still been living in west London I'd have been much happier going back to Kingston. Hope that helps a bit. Best of luck with everything! Smile

Thanks loobs, that is helpful. I think Kingston also allow you to have your scans/midwife appointments at Roehampton which is very close to me, so I think I might opt for that x

Yep we lived nearer to Roehampton and I had my scans and appointments there too - I remember sometimes having long waits but found it pretty good there too. Smile
