Healthy baby born after 1:15 risk

i just wanted to share my story to give hope to those going through high risk screening results and the associated stress and heartache.

Last year I had a 1:15 down syndrome risk for DC2. None of my results were wonderful, NT 2.6mm, very very low Papp-a and high-ish bHCG. We had CVS and got the all clear and our wonderful second son was born in April perfectly healthy.

I found happy endings so encouraging when I got my screening result and during the awful wait for the results of the CVS so just wanted to share.

congratulations! this sounds very similar to our story - nuchal of 2.77mm, normal Pappa, high bHCG, 1: 11 risk. Cvs clear, scan fine, now almost 22 weeks. I am sure it makes your lovely son extra precious. The happy ending stories really helped when we were waiting...as did the experiences of those who had had bad news.

Congratulations! There is inevitably an enormous amount of heartbreak on these threads so it is always reassuring to hear about happy endings!
