Like Blush 3years post birth? I feel like a freak seeing everything about pnd mums with tiny babies struggling to get through the day as ds is a toddler / little boy not a baby - though the baby days were bad and I struggled to get through them too afraid to ask for help. Doc thinks it all stems from undiagnosed pnd from the start of ds's life and is treating it as such.

I sought help about 10 months in, was treated as pnd and it helped a lot. Good luck ((()))

I was treated when first baby was months old, then at 4yrs; don't know if it's pnd or regular depression! Treatment was pretty much the same though. I think it's circumstances rather than the post birth hormone imbalance though. Do you have friends? A social life? Interests? Or are you just worn down with no respite and no interest in doing anything?

Absolutely - that's me! I dad to doc that i feel like it shouldnt take so much effort to simply be maintaining 'normal life' think the fact it stems from a difficult pg, induced labour and trouble bfing / bonding with ds is why doc said pnd instead of 'normal' depression.
