Im 33 & my hubby nearly 40,we have 2 boys aged 12 and 9 ,we have decided to try for our last child, but problems concerning me are ,is the age us as parents and the age gap between my children going to be an issue ?
I have thought long and hard and weighing up the pro's and negative's but still cant find to be totally ok with it ! (i can be sometimes abit of a stresshead !).....

My second issue is i suffered badly with postnatal depression on my second, and my mother took on alot while i was poorly,i have told her our plans for another baby but her reaction wasnt as pleaseing as i would of hoped, but i can understand ,it was horrible for her to see her daughter like that....(my mus in her early 50's & had 5 kids before 23 ! Wonderwoman ! )

But i do feel there are alot more different factors this time round, nearly 10 years later,my hubby knows he wasnt a helping father ,and has promised and is looking forward this time round to being a hands on dad,and other factors are we are seattled,we have a wonderful relationship with our two boys,i dont crave a social life like i did back 10 years ago,and i love every minute of being a mum....
we are going to speak with the doctor about any help i could receive if there was a chance of pnd returning....
i think my concern is my mother will be watching me too closely which in my mind i dont know if i could handle ...waiting for the moment to say " i told you so ! "....
sorry for blabbering ,im just feeling a tad confused and dont know whats right or wrong :(

PND with one doesn't mean it's a given with a subsequent pregnancy/baby. Age gaps will work if the child is loved and wanted.
Will come back and say more later when I have a proper keyboard!
