And have taken DD and am running away to my mums, four hours drive away.

Have no idea why we're having a baby.

I'm assuming I may be depressed or something, which is why I posted here. Also have a thread in relationships. Name changed.

Not everybody likes little babies. I have no interest in newborns, which made me panic in the last few weeks of pregnancy every time, and then they came and they were wonderful.
Hope you're okay x

I liked the last one. Definitely don't want this one. Not sure what I can do about it.

I didn't want mine throughout most of my pregnancy. I had AND and severe anxiety which were diagnosed at about 25 weeks.

My feelings focused around not wanting it, not wanting a girl, hated every one saying I must be excited and talking about the bump all the time.

I had CBT which helped a lot to get down to the root cause (poor mother/daughter relationships in my family).

Then she arrived and it was ok. I'll be honest, I've never had the whole rush of love thing but she's cute and we're chums.

PND is more common after AND but only because we know the signs. Having the support network around me meant that I relaxed a bit and I have had very few wobbles since she arrived 7 months ago.

Chat to your mw and I hope you feel better soon.
