Feet up and a film is a good plan and I'm sure being alert is just the adrenalin.

I'm feeling positive about everything now thanks, even to the extent we are argueing about names...I am concerned we will never agree on any!!
Bound to be the adrenaline, MissWooWoo - and pregnancy symptoms do wax and wane from day to day anyway, I have found.

I think taking it easy with some girly telly sounds a fine plan. Good luck - I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you.

hi lazyemma ... he will already be v drunk. The bleeding isn't heavy and it's only mild cramping, I guess I should just moniter it tonight and see how it goes.

I haven't had my booking in appointment with the midwife yet but I was referred by the dr last week. I might give the midwife unit at the hospital a call in the morning as I have an underlying medical condition and they may see me anyhow ...

trying to stay positive but about the only pregnancy sypmtom I've had this time round is feeling a bit more tired and now I'm completely "alert" and not feeling tired at all ... maybe that's adrenalin as I am shitting it.

MissWoowoo Hope you are ok and try not to let it worry you too much (As impossible as that is...deep breaths and distractions?) and maybe ask nhs direct for some advice? I hope everything is fine and fingers crossed for you. My MIL told me when she was pg with my dh she bled for 2 days and was worried sick but all was fine and he was a 9lb baby! X
Hi MissWooWoo. I think you probably should phone the hospital if the bleeding gets heavier and/or the grumblings get more painful, but I hope they settle down. Is your partner contactable? Could you phone him before he gets too bladdered, or is there anyone else who could come round? (if you think it would help to have some company)

Hi

just been to the loo as felt a "grumbling" in the tummy region, found spot of blood. Went to loo and wiped and there is bright red blood .... also like you page my dp has been out at rugby since midday. He will be langers by the time he gets home and I have dd 2.6 here with me, ready to go to bed fairly soon.

Not sure what to do - have a private scan booked for wednesday. If I carry on bleeding should I go to my local hospital? will they scan me there and then?

really shaking, don't want to lose this baby

page sounds positive if the bleeding has slowed/nearly stopped. Good news smile.

Hi fudgecat! Congratulations smile. IME the docs just ask you to book in with the midwife, which may be straight away or up to a few weeks. If you've had a home positive then unless you are taking medication which has HCG in it, you're pregnant. We also got this one first month TTC which was a real surprise as my first, now 5 yrs, took 7 months (which again isn't too bad...) and I'm 36 this time round. Good luck with the stopping smoking, and what a great incentive you have.

thank you for all the positive messages. i went to a friend's house and i have calmed down a bit. there is brown spotting still, will see how the next 48 hours pan out and will book in for a scan on monday near my work to put my mind at ease.
i have no cramping, still nauseaous but i think the thought of losing the little bean would make me continue feeling sick sad.
thank you for positive thoughts, i will keep you posted

Hi Everyone, can i join you?

It has been our 1st cycle of TTC and AF is now two days late.. i have had 2 BFP's so i guess im pregnant... its still not sunk in as i never expected anything to happen this soon and i dont feel any different to normal. I think i will phone the doctors on monday and see if i can get an appointment for next week. Does anyone know if they will do another test to confirm the pregnancy?

Would someone be able to add me to the list? the mn calculator says im due on the 27th July, oh and im 32 and in Oxfordshire

thanks and fingers crossed for everyone

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
