im pissed off - the neds have nicked my wheelie bin again!

(27 Posts)
and shoved it on a bonfire! again.
begining to think its a local tradition .... bonfire night , make a bonfire , set off some fireworks and burn drlove8s wheelie bins! angry
now ive got to wait weeks for a replacement after i phone the council ,who tell me to phone police to report and wait for about a week for police to come out and take a statement ,just to give me crime number , to pass on to council before they issue another bin to us!
So now i have aproximatly 2 weeks of taking rubbish in the car every day to the local rubbish/recycling centre ....with 5 kids in tow one of which has SN.
aaaarrrrgggghhhh .
the neighbour is an alcoholic single dad. the boys mum is a drug user.Yesterday the mum was in the street screaming her head off at this lad and his brother (both hers) ,calling them foul names.... i sort of feel sorry for them...but its no excuse for his behaviour....mabey a reason though why he acts the way he does...?hes nearly 16.
OMG - stealing wheelie bins to bonfire?! That's bizarre!! I'm in NE scotland with a spare wheelie bin - ours was abduted for a week and returned but in the meantime we got a new bin from the council. The plus point is we have 2 and sometimes the 2nd one gets filled as well like at xmas and they will take it too!

Maybe being caught will stop them <hopeful> How embarrassing for your neighbour though or will they not care? I would die of shame.

Vikky83 I'm in South Leeds and our recycling bins and brown bins haven't been emptied for 2 months but they are collecting our black bins.

It is clearly a hired company as it is a hired blue bin truck, they are coming about every 2 weeks but we have to leave our bins out constantly as we have no idea when it will be.

Thought the black bins and non-collection would come under enviromental health.
angry .... guess what ? the neds have done it again !
was sitting having nice cup of tea about 10 pm and i heard a noise outside , went to investigate and saw the neds running off with my bin thats 2 days old! they chucked it on another bonfire ! grrr . i phoned the police and told them, this time they sent out police to catch them in the act and a fire squad to put fire out. they caught them ! grin yay for police!
Turns out its next door neighbours son.
why? cant get my head round this tbh
<sigh>
