So do I...

I am already developing that feeling of heaviness and dread in my heart because only 4 more sort days and then I lose the dc to school again.

So no, YANBU!

LMAO

I can't wait to send mine back...they are careering round my house like maniacs , killing each other, fighting at every opportunity..the weather is miserable here so we can't get outdoors to the park etc. All the indoor places are heaving with big kids...ARGHHHHHH

Only 3 days until school starts.....

In my opinion YABU

I agree. No packed lunches, no uniform, no homework, no dragging reluctants DS's out of bed at 7.30, no rushing around like a loon to get to work on time. And 3 relaxed, happy, well-rested children. Heaven.

I love it too and am not looking forward to grumpy children once they are back at school next week.
We have homework to do today and I know it'll break the holiday spell for all of us

slarty - money has melted like snow I must admit. I had a bonus in last months payslip. DD's birthday present, party and the Easter hols have more or less taken care of that

I love the school holidays. No school run, no lunch boxes etc. We can do what we like when we like, I love it!! Having said that, both dd1 and dd2 love school and really enjoy it. DD2, very bright, is starting to ask when they are going back. I just love having them to myself for a while. Good weather has helped. Lots of walks and trips to the park.
