I just think that its a bit violent for them. My 3 yr old does copy some of the moves and doesn't understand that he can hurt ( he is freakishly strong for his age).

I wouldn't let DS (3.8) watch it.

no you feckin aren't

no WAY would my 4 yo watch it. He does NOT need to be taught violent moves at ALL.

I intend for him to do judo or similar in fullness of time, but thats a different matter, because it also teaches control.

Both my DS's (3.8 and 6.11) watch it....can't say I've witnessed any attempts at copying the moves - although we do get some attempts at being Tom and Jerry occasionaly

No, not unreasonable at all, Power Rangers are vile. And apart from the violence, it's also really naff, and you will have to endure your children doing the actions and singing the theme tune forever. Added to which he will want you to buy him the action figures as well!

Thanks, didn't think I was overreacting but a lot of parents where I am let their kids watch them, saying that though they let them watch anything. Also when MIL is looking after kids she's been letting them watch it, have just really put my foot down and made it perfectly clear to her not to let them watch it anymore. Fiofio - ur right it is really crap, in my day it was bagpuss, trumpton town, rainbow, Mr ben, what happened to all the good kiddies telly ??
