...for addiction to AIBU?

Cannot stop reading it. House is a mess it always was anyway and poor neglected baby is desperately trying to position herself between me and iPad. Surely there is some sort of parental lock I can get dp to put on Grin

Internet addiction is a real thing. If you're on too long it will rewire your brain to be similar to a person who has an alcohol or drug dependency.

I do this! Sometimes I feel like I've done nothing all day but be on mumsnet or tumblr. Have to wake up and decide (choose) NOT to open up the surfing internet today, full stop, tell myself it is just for today, but then I don't do it the next day either and then I can break my addiction! I find if I don't look for two days I can break the habit. Maybe I'm being smug - don't mean to be, completely know what you mean. I have lied to DP about what I've done all day - had to on one occasion, when there was a really juicy Benedict Cumberbatch / Matthew McConaughey thread or he would have been so p'd off and utterly shocked at my wasted life.
