'peach fuzz' on face? :-\

So fed up. Have noticed that this has really increased lately. Far worse than it's ever been. Am in mid thirties. Three children. Must be a hormonal shift, I guess?

I'd like to be able to respond to this or for someone else to try and respond but I am not sure what the question is. Are you asking why you are having the "problem" or whether it's unreasonable for you to feel fed up with it?

If it's the former, then I guess, yes, it's possible that it's hormones, in which case would suggest discussing this with your GP if it can't be dealt with the help of some OTC creams etc.

If it's the latter, then I will keep saying what I always say, i.e. it's not unreasonable for anyone to feel anything.

I don't remember it happening post kids, but I've def got it now that I haven't had a period for three and a half years!

I haven't got any advice or experience but just wanted to sympathise to balance out the unhelpful comments! Are you sure it is as noticeable as you think? I am early forties with some horrid hormonal symptoms so am similarly fed up.

I too, am a hairy fucker. Like, really hairy. OK, so it's light and fine (except for the odd rogue porcupine quill) but it can get LONG! So in certain lights it becomes really noticeable. No idea what the hell to do about it though. It really is soul destroying.

Thanks all for comments. May well try threading. It's just peach fuzz, not dark or noticeable but I'm aware of it.

I sympathise socks! I get the peach fuzz on my face really bad in pregnancy and this time it's lingered. DH said it wasn't noticeable but I'm really conscious of it (and am strangely addicted to stroking it!). If you find a solution please come back and share with us fellow fuzzies

socks I am similarly fuzzy, it's not too noticeable in winter, but when the sun shines from a certain angle. My husband mentioned I had a tache a few years ago, I thought he was joking til I saw it glistening in the sunlight! I just pluck out the long offenders as soon as they grow back. I probably could do laser/the thing they offer in salons, my mum has had it done and says its excellent, but obviously I don't care that much.

Anyone tried any of those home defuzzers like the NoNo or the Phillips one everyone was going on about at Christmas? I do keep wondering if they are the answer- and meanwhile, just don't think about it too much.

I get my face fuzz threaded every month, I have dark hair and pale skin and it made me misrable for years.

Mine became much worse recently. Turns out I had raised testosterone levels. It might be worth a visit to the GP.
I wax the worst areas every few months. Sometimes use a coil spring hair remover thingy that I got from amazon - it's similar to threading in that it rips out multiple hairs from the root in one shot.
Soul destroying. Definitely :(

One of my friends has noticed she has more hair on her face than usual; she's 38. She's just got pregnant after trying for a long time so whether it's hormonal in her case I'm unsure.
