When you say a black doll, what do you mean? Something like a barbie/Bratz, or a pretend baby?

If it's a barbie type doll you want then the Lottie dolls are ok. www.lottie.com/us/buy/?page=store

Available from amazon etc.

Not that this helps but in the 1970's I remember my friend's collection of Sasha dolls which had all different hair and skin colours and were just so gorgeous. I was so jealous of them!

I think the 70s were good in some ways for different coloured dolls. The Pippa range had a black pippa type doll called marie and an Asian one (with white hair I think which was strange) called britt.

Completely off thread but my parents bought me a black baby doll one xmas, I was probably 2 or 3.
I think it was very forward thinking in the 1960's.

Good luck and hope you find what you are looking for.

Wish I'd kept mine now as here's one for 65 www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/161214932423?limghlpsr=true&hlpv=2&ops=true&viphx=1&hlpht=true&lpid=108&device=c&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=108&ff19=0 although I think pristine never played with toys are sad, in more ways than one.
