I loved that book - passed it on to my Dad - he loved it too.

I sat in Cafe Nero one day snorting my way through one of Charlie Brooker's books - he makes me howl with his descriptions of famous people.

I once had to sit on a plane for eight hours next to someone who chuckled and snorted his way through a book. It irritated the fuck out of me.

i love his diagrams of his inventions ie the scarecrow made of 'beef'. the one that really made me lose it today was the one when he writes off stating he is a childrens entertainer and proceeds to layout his 'show' whereby he covers himself in feathers and makes the children count down from 100 in roman numerals (etc...)

Just downloaded it onto my kindle and it's rubbish so far TBH.
Got to the Madame Tussaud part and turned it off.

My job consists of reading such letters from real life people. I may just download it to see if there are any similarities.

I used to have to reply to such letters on behalf of a Well Known Person. The humour passes me by.
