I can't bear it anymore! I'm sick of being sweaty and sticky and grumpy! How do any of you in permanently hot countries cope?!

I can't bear it either. And not being able to sleep because of the heat. I'm having to eat 4 or 5 ice lollies a day to help me cope! I guess they have air con in hot countries? How much longer is this heat supposed to last??

Silly isn't it? We all moaned about the snow & the ever lasting winter and now summer has finally arrived we are complaining it is too hot! There's no satisfying some people!

Another week??! I've only bought 42 ice lollies, they'll never see me through! I much prefer snow and cold, I know how to dress for that and I can turn up my heating, sit by the fire, have 2 hot water bottles. Bliss. This heat I can't cope with!

I like it middling. Not too hot, no snow. No rain too please. Then I'll be happy Grin and 42 LOLLIES? I've only got three magnums!

Not keen on rain either. I think autumn is my favourite season. Yes 42 lollies. I stocked up in tesco today. I did get some looks, but they're mine all mine!

YABU.

Stop moaning, otherwise the sun will punish your ungrateful attitude and we will be back to numb fingers and toes before we know it.

Don't need to read the thread. Yes, YABU. It is not 'heat' in comparison with many places. It is beautiful weather which we get far too little of. Quit moaning (also light hearted)

Also, ice lollies will not make you cool. Look at the science. You don't know how to behave in the heat, that's your problem, not the warm weather.

I don't like the heat either. I get sunstroke easily and so does DD so we have to be careful about exposure.

I can't bear it, I am thankful for air conditioning at work and for my fan at home.

Give me snow over this any day Smile

Some people can't handle the heat, and I for one will bitch and moan about it, because I am free to do so.

Can't stand it in normal circumstances never mind heavily pregnant :( I love autumn and winter months they are brilliant. I still over heat in winter but I am unnaturally sweaty Blush one layer too many and I'm pouring! This summer i want to actually rip my skin off - if bare bones was an option my god I'd be the first in line Grin

I suggest browsing the chiller cabinets at Painsburys. Don't have to but anything but it's oh so cold. For the heavily pregnant I recommend taking a folding chair & some reading material.

Scotland here too and I'm fair wabbit wae the heat.

Far too warm in the bedroom here, fan on, windows opened, legs spread on the bed to allow the fan to cool every inch of me. Not a pretty sight I can assure you. Add to that fact that I did some facial hair removal earlier and now have a face like a well skelped arse...well you get the picture!
