Now whilest i think everyone has a right to apply to what shows they like i really think that some extra layer of safeguard should be had to apper of this show just watching now

The people on apper to have very low eye qs ( this is not a dig btw) i really dont think they can have any idea of how they are representing themselves on TV i would aimagin this would effect getting a job ect or are these people actors like TOWIEConfused

I belive that the philpots were on JK its the same
With BGT and things like that people are being taken advantage of on this show

Stop watching it then. If they have no audience they will cancel the show and the world will be a slightly better place.

There wouldnt be much of a show if the guests had to pass any sort of IQ test before they appeared.

It's okay, Dom, they're probably all on benefits, which means you can dismiss them, along with child poverty, etc. Hmm

I think that the Jeremy Kyle show is set up sometimes just to make it that little more 'interesting' just like the Jerry Springer show.

I stopped watching it as soon as I saw 'I slept with 15 men, DNA test my partner' I mean... really?

I'm starving. I wish someone would throw a bun in my direction.

But I digress. In all honesty, everyone knows what the JK Show is like. IQ has nothing to do with it. So I have no sympathy for the attention-seeking collection of dysfunctional individuals who queue up to wash their dirty linen on television.

It exploits its guests and positively revels in encouraging the audience to judge these unfortunates. I am guilty of watching it, but try hard not to now because I know its wrong Sad

I am just guessing but considering how Jeremy Kyle treats the guests sometimes and some of the more ridiculous story lines then going by that yes I do think that they get paid to appear on the show.

I will say i think some people just make things up so they get there 5 minutes some of these cant be real there is no way some one would come on tv and say the things they say

I don't think anyone remotely sane would go on that sort of show.

Haven't seen more than a couple of mins of jk (the time it takes to find the remote) but as a teen we used to watch riki lake etc in the school holidays and they are awful shows.

You'd be amazed at what people will say in public. I work in the media and have regularly been astonished at the intimate detail that people are prepared to share with the press.

I understand why people go on the show for certain reasons but not so much others. Things like DNA tests can be done through courts/privately.

However drug addicts get private rehab etc I understand that completely.

I used to watch Maury a US DNA and lie detector testing programme. He was lovely, and didn't pass judgement or have a go at his guests. He was always very sympathetic and kind, even when the 20th man was proved not to be the father, < sometimes>.

The programme was more about the quest in finding the father. Must say though, that the guests were more dignified and polite, compared with those on Jeremy Kyle here. .

In the Maury one, I learned 2 things -. it is possible to have twins by 2 different fathers and did happen that a woman conveived at 49 on the last day of her monthly cycle!!
