I bought a Dairy Milk yesterday for the first time in ages.

It was all wrong. Rounded and everything. Tasted bizarre too.

It's not Cadbury any more though is it? Didn't they get bought by some American company, and American chocolate is shit.

It's too sugary now.

I swear they have changed the taste. I have half a bag of bitesize Wispas sitting in the fridge because they taste rank with a weird chemical after taste.

And I could not taste the chocolate at all on Caramel Nibbles.

I've switched allegiance to Lindt and Green and Blacks.
I'd rather have a little good chocolate than a lot of shit tasting stuff.

I think its owned by Hersheys now and their chocolate is shit.

I think it tastes more oily now. Like the stuff that is used for chocolate fountains.

That might be my imagination though.

Definitely tastes odd now.

Quality Street are actually nicer than Roses now. Never thought I'd say that! And Heroes are vile.

Still like Crunchies, but my current chocolate bar of choice is Kitkat Chunky coconut flavour

Mmmmm. Don't care what kind. Just want some now. Wishing I hadn't left a double decker in my desk at work...

It's the palm oil they've added. It is vile. I've stopped buying it.

Kraft do make Terry's Choc orange though fabulous stuff...They used to do a choc orange version of the new Cadbury egg and spoon and it was incredible. I dream about eating those again.

They have definitely changed the recipe. It's not just the taste - the chocolates smell weird as well.

Just tried a piece of bournville (scientific purposes of course Wink) tasted fine to me, I think I might have another piece to check that I was tasting it correctly the first time.
I can't stand milk chocolate anymore, it all tastes too sweet.

I have literally minutes ago thrown my remaining half a big bar of Cadbury chocolate at DH, wailing about the change of taste.
I have a horrid chemical sweet taste in my mouth now. YUK
(hopefully will lose weight now)

I detected a slight nuance of change in Wispas shortly after Kraftt bought Cadburys. Then I noticed that the heavenly whiff I usually get when I open a packet of chocolate buttons had gone.
I have a conspiracy theory that the people of Bourneville, unhappy at the American takeover, have left some small ingredient out to show their unhappiness

I hope everyone complains and boycotts them so they understand that they should not have hampered with the recipes - why did they do that? Why can't they leave the recipes the fuck alone?! Don't they get that the biggest reason we didn't want them to take over is because we didn't want some American company come in and try to change our chocolate to some shit tasting American type choc crap!

We bought identical egg and spoon in the egg box last month in Austria. The make was Milka.

So glad it's not just me those egg and spoon things had the Cadbury smell when you first opened them. Then tasted nothing like them and lost the smell.

Cadbury bought Green & Black in 2005 and then they've been bought by Kraft (2010).

Kraft also own Milka (1990), there's a Kraft logo on the back of the packet.

Yes I agree it has changed. I eat Galaxy now.

Badtemperedaldbitch, what are you talking about? Contaminated with faces? Confused.

Not noticed a change in Cadbury but I have noticed Galaxy tastes different, not liking it any more

I e-mailed Cadbury and they said the recipe hadn't changed. But I guess it could be a lie.

Badtempered

What do you mean it was contaminated with faces?
