I especially love the 'future weddings' comment

Not even remotely 18 - 30. Was full of American couples when we went aged 25.

I am puzzled by all the Sandals - 18-30 comparisons, I always thought of Sandals as a reasonably expensive company probably frequented by smug fat older company directors and their botoxed younger wives - rather than shagging drunk teenagers (was I wrong?)

Having been unable to avoid the photos of her visit to Sandals I am amazed she says the Gazebo looked cheap - did she look in the mirror at any point, at the skintight nippley wedding dress (and it is possible to look sexy at a wedding without looking cheap) Lets not even get into the revolting legs akimbo tattooed photo of her wearing nothing but oil and tiny white pants (boak)

Surely photos of yourself with clothes off are soft porn?

I get cold sores. Nowt to do with cock. Sadly.

LengLogs Sun 27-Jan-13 10:55:05

Wedding tent was made out of plastic? Did she expect it to be made out of diamonds?

'I was so stressed I came home with a cold sore'

No dear, might be all the cock you've had recently. I suggest you visit your local GUM clinic.

Lueji- Sandals offered the private beach on their own private island but she refused.

Lueji Sun 27-Jan-13 07:54:16

Are Jordan and Kevin still together?

It's not Kevin, though.
It's Keiran (why is my brain even engaged on this?), because it's close enough to the "Kevin" that the fortune teller told her. confused
In common: K___n

Good on her for landing a 25 year old, though.

Lueji Sun 27-Jan-13 07:39:26

An upmarket resort would have proper privacy.

She wouldn't be able to be "caught" by paparazzi, or complain about it...

Last week I stayed in a gorgeous inn on a work trip, in the village that KP used to stay in. The local taxi driver stayed there too. He told me that the villagers all threw a massive street party on the day she moved out...apparently she was vile. Good on Sandals.

YouOldSlag Sun 27-Jan-13 00:06:34

I had not heard of the complaint by Katie Price until I read the thread in here. The company must have known that they were raising the profile of this complaint by making such a personal attack on Katie Price.

Don't blame Sandals- it was KP who has an entire one page column in The Sun and chose her page in a National newspaper to slag them off. They merely responded, which they have a right to do.

They could have sued her for slander, but instead they simply issued a press statement. KP said " Sandals? More like a smelly old flip flop"- is that not derogatory?

Do you expect a business not to respond to a newspaper article in a national UK newspaper with approx 6 million readers?

Why make such a fuss about Wedding Nr 3? It is just a wedding. One of many.

SucksToBeMe Sat 26-Jan-13 12:59:42

I don't mind KP. No matter what she does she will always be hated for it. I've met her when she did some charity work, and found her to be lovely.

80sMum Sat 26-Jan-13 12:51:20

It's rather sad, in a way, that she (Miss Price) thinks of herself as important, when in reality everyone is laughing at her.

manicbmc Sat 26-Jan-13 12:51:01

Nasty cough you have there. grin

KateSMumsnet (MNHQ) Sat 26-Jan-13 12:50:29

<AHEM>

manicbmc Sat 26-Jan-13 12:48:46

She ruined her own wedding by refusing their offer of a private island for the ceremony and instead choosing to have it on a public beach where the paps were. Then she has the brass neck to complain.

She is a silly woman.

Nancy66 Sat 26-Jan-13 12:47:12

I can't imagine KP simply booked with Sandals and turned up without there having been some nogotiation about discount, publicity, photography etc.

I know some London hotels refuse to accept certain celebrity guests if they think it will negatively impact on their other guests.

Arisbottle Sat 26-Jan-13 12:43:55

I find it repulsive that a holiday resort would turn someone down on the basis they they might not be good enough.

I have a fair bit if cash but am very common , can I have a list of places what will turn me away? Will save both of us any embarrassment .

'Akiss - an upmarket resort wouldn't have wanted her though.'

Really? On what basis can an upmarket resort turn someone away? Especially as they claim not to have heard of her fame.

Arisbottle Sat 26-Jan-13 12:39:26

Thanks Nancy, I genuinely didn't know. Do many sun reader buy overpriced sandals holidays?

Although I am not a sandals holidays type person I suspect we may be the income bracket. I had not heard of the complaint by Katie Price until I read the thread in here. The company must have known that they were raising the profile of this complaint by making such a personal attack on Katie Price. So they are ridiculing a woman not to defend them selves but to create publicity. Not very nice IMO.

Nancy66 Sat 26-Jan-13 12:37:24

Akiss - an upmarket resort wouldn't have wanted her though.

meddie Sat 26-Jan-13 12:33:40

It made me chuckle.

Flossiechops Sat 26-Jan-13 12:31:18

gringringringringringringringringringringringringringringringringringringringringringringringrin

I'm surprised she went to Sandals. With her money you'd think she could afford somewhere better than fucking Sandals.

Nancy66 Sat 26-Jan-13 12:26:32

MN's readership is a drop in the ocean compared to The Sun!

The Sun sells just under 3million copies a day - with about 6 million people reading the paper on a daily basis not to mention the millions more who read the website

BrianCoxandTheTempleofDOOM Sat 26-Jan-13 12:23:05

I've no interest in the DoC, other than a passing interest in what's occuring in the country (and yes, I did pay attention to their wedding but it was a historical event n all that)

I've little interest in most things that I am supposed to have interest in (according to the likes of Heat, OK! and other such shite wink) I do like to learn that other people are also as uninterested as me, makes me feel less alone grin
