I love living in the country, I couldn't imagine living in a city. So, YABU.

squoosh Sun 23-Sep-12 18:26:17

Have you always lived there or did you move there from a city? I like the countryside in bursts, but full time rural dwelling wouldn't suit me at all. Fo'sho'.

TheGoldenKnid Sun 23-Sep-12 18:26:44

If it's boring, go make something happen! grin

But careful with involving sheep.

Hullygully Sun 23-Sep-12 18:26:58

but no sheep

Dawndonna Sun 23-Sep-12 18:27:52

I live in the country. The smell of slurry can be a bit overwhelming at times, but other than that, I love it. I was brought up in South West London, opposite Wimbledon Common and near Richmond Park and whilst they were fab, it was never enough green. I'm in Suffolk now, huge skies, huge vistas. Love it!

motherinferior Sun 23-Sep-12 18:28:12

Don't blame you. Horrid stuff, all green and open and unpolluted <shudder> Why aren't you in civilisation, Hully?

TheGoldenKnid Sun 23-Sep-12 18:28:15

But you've got us to entertain you!

<pats Hully soothingly>

Hullygully Sun 23-Sep-12 18:28:28

You can't not have any shops/cinemas etc in a town

TheGoldenKnid Sun 23-Sep-12 18:29:34

Make what happen?

I don't know. Blow something up? Join the Women's Institute? Join the Women's Institute and then blow it up?

Hullygully Sun 23-Sep-12 18:29:56

<fascinated by unchartered's town>

wow that is a shit town

why do you live in that town?

ithaka Sun 23-Sep-12 18:30:15

YANBU it is personal taste. I loooove living in the country, but I like horse riding, long walks, wild camping, animals, wilderness, peace, space etc. Other people prefer an urban envirronmentt- perhaps you should move?

IvorHughJanus Sun 23-Sep-12 18:30:20

How the fuck can you hate sheep? Surely they're the least offensive of all livestock? With their funny little faces and little twitchy noses. Like little clouds dotted all about the place.

Maybe just shit your own bit of the countryside up a little bit. Dump an old washing machine out the front, chuck some coke cans and condoms about, and drive up and down outside tonight blasting some drum n bass out.

Sorted innit.

Hullygully Sun 23-Sep-12 18:31:07

JOIN THE WOMEN'S INSTITUTE?

<faints>

The women here aren't like me, to put it mildly

They think I'm like a FREAK

motherinferior Sun 23-Sep-12 18:31:33

Bastard children much happier in civilisation, IMO. Especially my muliticulti bastard children. Move. Bring smiles of joy to their happy little faces.

<helpful>

TheGoldenKnid Sun 23-Sep-12 18:31:38

That would liven things up, there you go. You could take over the Women's Intstitute!

UnChartered Sun 23-Sep-12 18:31:41
