to think www.nannywageltd.co.uk has the worst customer service in the UK

I responded to an existing thread about this company earlier in the week. But now feel it deserves a thread of its own.

I was a new customer and hadn't been receiving the payroll information via the post and emailed them. They suggested I take it up with the local post office.

Choice comments from the trail are:

On my comments that I haven't received the payroll again

We would strongly recommend that you consult with your local delivery office over the failure of their delivery services as not only are you not receiving our correspondence but one must wonder what other important correspondence has not been delivered to you

On my suggesting that they could email the payslips to prevent delivery issues

Of course we have e-mail scan facilities, not sure what type of company you think we are, we handle the payroll for thousands of clients you are the only one with regular delivery issues

On my suggesting that the issue could be the postcode not appearing clearly

Any way enough of this rubbish, you keep on about never receiving our payroll and now again and are wasting your and our time with your amateurish reason why you are not receiving our payroll

and the final blow

Sorry but you are suggesting it is the fault of Nannywage Ltd that you have not received your payroll

We reserve our right to abrogate our payroll service immediately either verbally or in writing

I received the resent correspondance today and indeed the postcode is at the bottom of the envelope and if not folded properly would easily have slipped beyond sight - I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and emailed them (albeit slightly smugly) with my helpful findings.

Got this back .....

I have sent you a subscription refund please stop corresponding with my company

I really do not wish to trade with a difficult person such as yourself

I do not care what you think

I shall not reply to any further self opinionated drivel that you may care to spout

Their website says they are part of a group of companies, I would find that group and complain.

this seems to be an increasingly common problem with customer support in so many companies lately, do they think they are recession-proof?

Why do people use this service when it is so easy to run payroll yourselves? All you need is an Excel spreadsheet. Any one want it I can assist.

I've just been fired by them too because I was apparently refusing to flag up my mistake in the nanny salary calculation (that is the reason why I was calling them). They told me they don;t check information and just 'do' the work.
Also they never replied to my emails stating my mistake and when I said I left a voicemail they told me they don't return calls.

Stay away from them! They are now refusing to reimburse me (after only sending me a letter of intend, nothing more).

They have absolutely no notion of customer service, the guy even hung up the phone and was raising his voice.

Corinne your link takes you though to a page where this company has responded and given the clients real name on the internet. Shocked surely this breaks data protection. (No need to use this company was just being noisy and shocked at the reviews...adding nothing useful to this post...carry on)

Their annual accounts are over a year overdue at Companies House - not very good considering the line of business they're in! Maybe they got lost in the post as well though.

The other companies in their 'group' all appear to have been dissolved - the ones I've checked don't seem to have ever traded.
