AIBU?

To have not done any house work yet?

I am a SAHM and since dropping dd off at school I have done absolutely nothing constructive.

I have had breakfast, watched crap tv and MN'd. I have a large pile of washing up to do, which is calling me; but so far I've ignored it. I did do the laundry yesterday and cooked a lovely cottage pie for tea, does that excuse my idleness today?

And I am 22 weeks pg and still getting nausea (trying desperately to get sympathy vote).

So AIBU for being a lazy arse?

I have done similar, but without the pie or being pregnant.

YANBU, natch.

Nah, don't worry about it. I'm sitting here typing this whilst the chickens are in the hall stealing catfood and crapping everywhere Grin

YANBU. I've also done bugger all and don't even have the excuse of being pg.

I've done nothing at all either. Took older DC's to school, got a bit of shopping (bits for tonights cottage pie!) then came home and have been sat on my fat arse since about 0900.

DC3 (10 weeks) is sleeping in his moses basket - I could be using this time to hang out the washing, clean bathroom or even start the ruddy cottage pie but I just cannot be bothered.

You should be ashamed of yourselves Shock. I've got the kids up, taken them to school, walked the dog, put the rubbish out, put a wash-load on and done an hour of gardening digging up potatoes and cutting back perennials......HOWEVER DH has just left for work so I'm now doing nothing till 3.30pm kids pick-up time.
The trick is to look like you're run off you feet whilest doing the least amount possible Grin

Ooh, glad I'm in good company. I am just not gifted with the housework gene and I actually don't care. As long as the washing up is done and the lounge is tidy(ish) by the time dp gets home I'll be happy.

I have been voted by my 5yo dd as being "lowest" on the tidy list, dp being top, her being 2nd. Even my own child thinks I'm crap round the house! Is there any hope for me??

I do need to do something or there will be no plates to eat any food from. House is somewhat midden like (this is what happens when DH is away for a couple of nights Blush)

YANBU.

I'm about the same as you (23 weeks pregnant) and have taken DD to nursery, come back and had an hour's sleep and am now MNing whilst I eat breakfast.

I'll have to haul arse shortly though as have to pick up DD in an hour. Have not even thought about dinner...

I am off to work shortly - only work for about an hour a day.

I have done the school run, picked up a few things from Tesco, put the dishwasher on, watched Homes Under The Hammer Blush and now I am on here.

I am going now....

You do realise the people who would say you are possibly being unreasonable are doing their housework don't you?!

I have done the washing up, folded some towels and put another load of washing going. DH is back from working away tonight so I'll have a quick clean around before he gets back Grin

YANBU and once the baby comes along of course you have to use the 'oh he/she hasn't let me put him/her down all day, typical they're all angelic now you're home' Wink
