to feel a bit teary about Dcs going back to school tomorrow

Of course I am. AF is due in a few days which will be a major part of it, but I have (mostly) loved having them at home and feel quite sad that the summers effectively over.

I work mostly term-time, so have only been into work 6 days in the last 6 weeks and I'm back to normal tomorrow, which I can't really say I'm looking forward to, so that probably has something to do woith it too, but really I feel sad the we won't be together so much.

Almost every mother I've spoken to over the last few days has said what a relief it will be to get them back to school. Am I odd?

I have been weepy all day and no period to blame!

I love the holidays, hate having to run to someone else's timetable.

Plus, I think I have some general school-phobia issues of my own.

DD, on the other hand, seems really keen.

I am dissappointed the summer holidays are over too...my youngest is starting mornings at preschool tomorrow for the first time and ds1 is going into yr1 on friday WAHHHHHHH! I am going to miss them and also im going to hate the triple school run...
