hi,think this is the best place to post my ?
basically had twins 11yrs ago 7 lb+ each, had the most awful overhang was a size 12 and 5ft6 after so not overweight but my stomach was awful

anyway 6yrs ago had a tummy tuck pleased with the result, was infertile so had ivf to concieve the twins, anyway fell pregnant naturally a big shock

i continued the pregnancy they had also put a stitch in when had tuck as consultant could push his fist into my tummy before tuck
but wasnt suppose to get pregnant after op,anyway had 10 lb babe and for the last 3yrs my stomach looks like im 3-4mths pregnant,no overhang but looks very bloated and lots of people have mentioned it which has made me very selfconcience,im not exagerating its worse than before i had the op,clothes are a nightmare etc

so is there anything i can do,i admit im no fitness junkie and was wondering do them slendertone things work or anything else uve used,im size 14 now but apart from stomach im ok with general body

sorry for long post

there isnt a fast track way of toning up imo, sorry!

i joined a gym 6 months ago. i have not lost much weight but my body is so much more toned and trim. i think that really is the only way of losing a tummy, unless its excess skin in which case it would be surgery again.

Am doing 30 day shred (but taking my time on amount of time on each level). After 3 kids got fed up of people asking when number 4 was due. Been doing it nearly 3 months now and my stomach is SO much better but starting to feel hard in the middle (have a lot of blubber still!). Not perfect by any means but do feel that if I persevere with time it'll look better still.

I really feel for you. I found my post baby stomach v depressing. I actually dont mind doing exercise though and so have been working really hard to get rid of the baby belly. The glamour of haviong a baby is just never ending!!

Have you tried pilates? It may not be so great at loosing weight generally but will help you tone up and particulrly stomach area as the idea behind pilates is to concentrate on your core (stomach). You can get some good DVD's to do at home.

Otherwise, maybe see a physiotherapist who will be able to tell you what will and wont have an effect and if surgery is your best option.

Good luck.

No they don't work, i can sell you mine that i pent over £100 on though if you want to try.
Most tummy flab is fat that needs to come off in my experience and toning only works after thats been burnt off with cardio.
10 minutes pilates solution from Amazon is the best £6 you'll ever spend on a DVD.
