DD2 has an egg allergy (hives) but seems to be growing out of her dairy sensitivity (excema/constipation)...
We have a first appt at the hospital this morning after finally being referred by the GP, mostly i think so the hospital will do her MMR (she is 16 months).

Any advice? What should i expect? Any do's or dont's?

Be quick though, have to leave in an hour!

Thanks

HI,
be careful with food in the waiting room asthere will be other highly allergic children.
First appt with us took over two hrs ,but that included epipen training.
Your dd will prob have skin prick tests on her back ,you'll need to hold her securely. They're over really quickly then you wait about 10-15 min for results to be read ,then wait to see dr again so lots of waiting!
Also if you'd like her tested for anything in particular ie.house dust /nuts tc then ask dr.

good luck ,hope she's outgrown her egg allergy, but she may be a bit young yet so don't be too disappointed if she hasn't .DS outgrew his at 3 yrs.
