Allergies and intolerances

Allergic / intollerant to some dairy but not others

My 7 month old has severe refulx, and despite medication is sick pretty much all day every day (although the meds do help the pain). Now we are weaning, she seems to have particularly bad episodes after fromage frais and yoghurt - but is fine with cooked cow's milk puddings, cheese and the formula I use to make up cereal (she's breastfed otherwise). I need to get my head around the possibility of dairy intolerance, and how it can just be to some sorts of dairy. Can anyone send their thoughts? Thanks!

Hmmm, sound slike its mroe lactose intolrerant at a low level than casein intolerant to me- have a search on the terms and see if they seem familiar (casein= milk protein, lactose = milk sugar)

Its recognised that those with low levels of lactose intlerance can take in some cooked forms of milk.

You might think about a lactose reduced formula on rescription- I can haeratile recommend Enfamil lactofree as we have been using it for 3 years now (and it tastes nice)
