infected excema

DD7 has infected excema on her little finger have been bathing it and wiping away all the puss (sorry groce i no) started to leave big holes so took her to dr he said no what your doing is fine (looked at me like they do) just put emulsifying ointment on so i did this morning it is much worse and looking real sore from the previous cleaned once is now quite distressed at me touching it it is a saturday do i bother emergency dr advise from clued up parents please. sorry was so long thanks

ds had infected ezcema when he was a couple of months old. Dr gave us some mild steroid cream (fucidin H I think) and it cleared up really quickly.

was just about to post about fucidin it does work on infected eczema --fucibet cream is also good but the ointment works qucker imao

I'm surprised they didn't give you a steroid cream, particularly as it's for such a small localised patch. Always got us through flare-ups.

as for whether to contact someone today, it's hard to answer, perhaps it is worth a phonecall?

oh think i have some of that (she had impetigo back a bit) funny skin!!
