DS2 (4) is suffering from a flare up of eczema on his face at the moment. It's red, raw, sometimes crusty and sometimes weepy on his chin and one side of his mouth. It also seems to be creeping up to his top lip. We've been using various things on it - Eumovate (which seems to be having less and less of an effect), Evening Primrose Oil and various moisurisers, but with no improvement. Has anyone got any ideas?

He is autistic and is allergic to dairy, eggs, apples and nuts. We've also removed citrus, tomatoes and berry fruits from his diet as they seem to make the eczema worse, AND he's on a gluten free diet to help with autistic behaviours. At the start of this recent flare-up (about a week ago) I stopped giving him soya yoghurts and icecream as his nutritionist suggested he could have developed an allergy to these too. So far (4 days) this has made no difference - in fact the eczema has got much worse. Any thoughts welcome - thanks
