Hi there, my ds has egg, dairy and nut allergies. Do any of you wise ones have a recipe for Egg/Dairy Free Batter (can use Goats products) it is more the egg part I am stuck on.

Thanks

When we make indian pakoras which are vegetables deep fried in batter, the batter is just made of chick pea flour and water, would that be any good?

we've had no success with substitutes for this (it's the egg that's the real problem), but if you were wanting to make pancakes, we use Orgran buckwheat pancake mix (is available on prescription and to buy in Health Food Shops). They give directions on how to make it without any milk or egg and it does work

Use Orgran No egg available from health food shops. Then use any pancake/batter recipe.

Use orgran batter recipe on the back - works best with a mixture of potato flour and instant polenta IMO. You need to make with warm water for it to go thick.
