Hi
Have been using Elenas Nature Collection on my 17mth old son now for 3 mths. It is doing really well but he still has eczema on backs of legs and has just appeared quite bad on his bum. He is definitely loads better than before we started using this. Is anyone else using it and have any stories?

I used it on ds and thought it was worth every penny. However, if you want to try something else (and goodness knows it is desperate to have a poor itchy child) I have also used E45 itch cream (I think that is the correct name), which is cheap, and SK cream, which isn't (tel 01526 832491 or email [email protected]). The latter is something I saw in an article in the Guardian and it seems to be soothing, although since you have to keep it in the fridge perhaps a bit chilly to apply in winter.

I tried the 3 system appraoch and actually found that just using Elenas Eureka cream worked really well on ds face - I use Icthamol paste on body - oin prescription - it is what they use in hospiatal - zinc oxide and ichthammol. I think it is not so commonly used because it really is horribly messy and wrecks clothes etc but if you persevere it is wondeful and no steroids!!! I was wrapping head to toe every day but now maybe a dab of paste once a fortnight - completely clear. I nearly cried the first time ds wore short sleeved t shirt without scratching.
