General Allergies

I am on a prescribed antihistamine once daily. For the past 4 days' I've ran out. I now have rashes and itches and wheezes etc.
I'm just wondering, is allergic reaction a bit like pain? You know the way, we don't like pain, but it serves its purpose in telling us we are in danger?
I'm just wondering, whether I am ignoring my body's warning signs to me by masking allergic symptoms with an antihistamine every day?

I hear your point and agree . I would stick with the GPS advice though as you obviously need the Medicine .
Can't you seek a referral to an allergy clinic ? Can you narrow down the possible cause ?
