Hi, just wondering if anyone knows where I can find some info or guidelines on this. DS turned one in May, and I stopped BFing him around then too, so he now has 3 beakers/bottles of Aptamil Pepti 2 formula a day. I'm wanting to reduce this to 2 ( with 7oz in each ) which seems to be the norm around this age.
However all the advice on how much milk to give and when that I can find is for babies being given cows milk. We saw the dietician in May, I seem to remember her saying he needed 18oz a day, but I'm not sure now. She also said they need less calcium now so I shouldn't worry about that, but gave me a sheet on other foods that are sources of calcium.
So, just wondering what everyone else does or did around this age! Would like to cut down on the formula really, it's such a faff having to get the prescription and order it etc, never mind making it up. Jealous of my friends just getting the cows milk out of the fridge!
