My lo has had a positive RAST test for cmpa. Hospital advised in their letter today to change milk to aptamil pepti.
Drs aren't open till Monday so we bought some from local asda pharmacy.
Tried first bottle & he won't drink it just spits it out. He was on aptamil ar milk.
Can I add few scoops of ar milk while he get used to the taste? X

How old is your lo? Is he only on milk so far? We had the same situation with our DS, and when he worked out there was nothing else on offer and he was hungry he drank the Pepti quite happily. And he wasn't going to starve in the meantime!

He's 18 weeks, so quite young.
I do worry about him not feeding as he's dropped to 9th centile in the last 2 weeks due to pain when feeding and refusing feeds.
Shall I just keep trying it then and not give him any of the other milk?
It's so hard to know what to do for the best isn't it? Xxx

It's vile cold. Try heating it up but a little more than like warm. Have it as warm as u feel is safe.
