Itchy Rash

Hi I am new on here and was wondering if anyone has had anything similar. Over a week ago I developed what looked like hives. It gradually got worse and I got myself some antihistamine tablets, then went to my GP who gave me a stronger tablet, but the rash is still here and is getting worse. The only different thing I had was Manuka Honey but I stopped taking it when the rash came (I had a cough that wasn't going away and was taking it for that). Does anyone know if the Manuka could stay in your system that long, or has anyone ever had anything like this. It is so itchy and keeps me awake at night. I haven't changed shower wash or washing powder and I am eating the same as normal. I don't have any other allergies. Can anyone help? Will have to go to the GP again but as its a Bank Holiday weekend will have to wait to Wednesday.

It could be anything really! And you may never find out unless it happens again and you can make a connection. My dd is very allergic and yesterday her neck came up in very itchy angry hives. She took Piriton. She denied having eaten or done anything different, then a hour later she remembered that she had scratched her neck with her brush (as you do!!)
So it was probably hairspray/make-up/dust! It did go down though.
It does seem unusual that your lasted a week and suggests that the allergen is still present either in your environment or food.
Hope you get to the bottom of the mystery. Good Luck.
