Allergies and intolerances

AptamIl Pepti 1 if anyone wants to try it

Ive just found the 4 tins of aptamil pepti 1 that disappeared 2 months ago! DS is now on and prefers his pepti 2 so if anyone suspects an allergy but doc won't prescribe you can have and try them out then they might listen!

We were prescribed this as DS refused neocate, it's hydrogenised not amino acid and tastes nearly like normal formula!

Can post if you'd like but not sure how much it'd be, or you can collect from Hammersmith, West London.

It's 4 x 400g tins.

Bump before I take it back to the pharmacy as they'll only destroy it!

Sealed and in date...

I would but in West Yorks! Considering trying this.
My LO is 7 weeks, 3 corrected and FF from birth as too early and sleepy to latch. He was on SMA gold. He was ok to start with then for a few weeks has been having diarrhoea, reflux (always was a sicky baby but started with pain) and has a rash on his upper back, chest and face.
I suspect cows milk protein intolerance but my HV disagrees and says it is lactose intolerance - we changed him to SMA LF. Also on baby gaviscon.

Don't know why your hv would suggest lactose intollerance, it's really rare in babies :-/ I've found health visitors absolutely rubbish when it comes to allergy to be honest.

Happy to send it, not sure how much it'd be though, or courier might work out cheaper? (city link tho please.. Yummy!)

My DD is on Pepti 2 now for CMP. If anyone is wondering about it I would highly recommend it, she is thriving on it, just be pushy if your GP is refusing to prescribe it.
When DD moved onto to 2 I took my left over tins of 1 back to the chemist so if no one wants it you could always do that.

I have just seen this thread, is the Aptamil Pepti still available, or has it gone? I have a CMP intollerent baby, and we are currently trying to introduce formula ahead of weaning, she hasn't enjoyed the Neocate so far, but we are still trying, and I was wondering if Aptamil Pepti would be any better.
Thanks very much.
