Eight and a half months after first contacting our LA we go to panel on Tuesday morning. At times it has seemed a slow process yet in other ways it seems to have passed by in a flash.

Am now really preoccupied with what the future holds with the matching process. Has our son/daughter already been born. What on earth are they currently going through.

Had remained focussed on assessment process up to now but am now at the end and all the possibilities are crowding my head! Is this normal? I don't want to get obsessed and over anxious as know this stage could last a long time.

When I say 4 more sleeps I may actually mean 4 more nights counting sheep!

Thank you, it is a weird limbo time isn't it? Am taking everyone's advice to make the most of it before the real hard work begins!!

Perfectly normal.... We wen out with friends from the prep group shortly before panel and one of them said that our children were already born and out there.... Those 3 all nodded... It took me back, I hadn't thought about that but thy were right.....

It's a great time.... Try to enjoy your freedom, go out fir as long as you want, sit in the bath fir ages, go have a mani/pedi..... Read a book :-) all of which I took no notice of but should have.......
