Home with our little boy

Hi,
I'm a very proud mummy to a beautiful 2 year old boy!
We've been home 2 nights, eating normally, playing as he did at the FC's and slept 12 hours both night. Grin
I've spoken to the heartbroken FC every day who has a toddler sized hole in her life, she is amazing!
Our house and garden look like toy town but who cares!!!!
Managed to get home made dinners on the table both nights and the washing basket is empty - not sure that will last......
Life is good!

How lovely, and so lovely you are keeping in touch with the FC for him, and the grieving FC, too! Congratulations and best wishes for a wonderful life together with your little boy!

O how lovely! And isn't it wonderful that you know he was loved before he became yours too. It's lovely to read threads like this. I hope you're all really happy together.

Thanks ladies! That's really kind.
I know when we were pre-placement, we read and read everything we could in prep - to the point of scaring myself and DH.
I feel that only then could we realise what we could cope with.
It's so far worked for us - long may it last!
And yes Earthy our Intros and first days home will be emblazoned in our memory with sunshine Smile
