How cold is it where you are? And have you got your heating on?

It's 5 degrees here in Norfolk. The heating came on for 1 1/2 hours earlier in the evening but the house is now freezing again. Am very glad I have my Slanket [smug emoticon]

Completely OT....

But had to tell you that just looked at the threads I am on and nearly spit my tea over the laptop when I saw your name PhantomPlopper!!! Thanks for the giggle!
We had our first frost on the Isle of Wight here today.

Tis bloody freezing out there, heating isn't on as the thermostats say 21 in all rooms except my bedroom (window open).
Frost on the cars here now (Herts). First time this autumn.

Like a sauna inside though - one of the dcs had turned the thermostat up to 30 degrees and took me a while to notice.
It's 9 degrees here in Milan (3 degrees at night). Of course the heating is on! (we live in a flat in a building, we can't turn off/on the heating as we wish)

No idea what temp is outside - but enough to make the car frosty.

Inside thermostat reads 17 degrees - heating is on to get it up to 20!

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
