penguinmum's creamy fish pie: smoky, seasonal fish in a creamy white sauce with grated, rather than mashed, tatties on top - a meal of the highest comfort-food order.

When you're tired of MN...

(18 Posts)
What do you do in the evening when you're feeling bored and lazy?

DH at work, kids asleep, nothing on the TV, can't get excited about any MN threads shock, but not much energy due to tiredness of 4mo waking a couple of times every night for BF.

What do you do to relax/feel better when you feel tired and not really able to concentrate ie book etc prob not a good idea.

Come and inspire me grin

PS Have given up drinking which is what I used to do with my evenings!

When you're tired of MN you are tired of life.

That's a paraphrased quotation that is. From Dr Samuel Johnson the private doctor.

All top ideas. Thank you smile

DH is popping home for his break soon so I'm cooking now, then I think a hot bath and bed with a book.

There is a lot of sorting out going on in the evenings amongst MNers - you must all have immaculate and very organised homes!
watch cool music videos on youtube and sing along!

Paperwork/shredding and sorting all good too. Go through the calendar adding stuff and 'memorising' it - I have no clue what we're doing when otherwise.

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
