Another northern voice saying 'no' to pork pie and mushy peas. Meat n tater yes, pork pie, no. My Nan always made blue toffee apples for bonfire night <random>
I remember that thread mo <boak>
Always pie n peas since I was a little girl. Parkin and bonfire toffee too for afters.
Yuckahoola!!! That's just wrong.

But then I started a thread once about cold meat, mash and pickle and folk thought I was odd!

Must be a Northern thing, that one. Cold meat and mash on Boxing Day is a must in Sarf London! grin

I have never been offered pork pie and mushy peas. Not on bonfire night, not on any night.
