penguinmum's creamy fish pie: smoky, seasonal fish in a creamy white sauce with grated, rather than mashed, tatties on top - a meal of the highest comfort-food order.

LIZ JONES is so poor.................

(90 Posts)
bless her hmm

I've never read such a load of selfish drivel in all my days especially at a time when some people are really struggling

biscuit
is it just me or does she have an awfully strange jawline?

never heard of the woman before! despite her being one of the highest paid columnists on fleet street
serves me right for being in touch with reality and avoiding all 'lifestyle' and pointless polly-filla columns
im sure she has some redeeming features but couldnt find them in that article
Well, that's actually good to know. I would hate to think she is truly that insecure.

hmm...I know her (a little bit). I like her. Her columns are exaggerated.
Jealous? No, I feel sorry for her.

When she got sacked she took her fiance on an expensive holiday because she feared he wouldn't love her anymore if she wasn't rich and successful hmm

Sad

Oh dear me! I wish I could get paid for writing such rubbish. I couldn't make it to the end it was too tedious.

Foxinsocks is spot on with her analysis.
Ok - feeble attempt at sarcasm grin
That column does at least show a smidgeon of self-awareness though, doesn't it? Unlike most of her material. It's not crowing, is it, exactly?

I know she always fucks it up with some ludicrous lack of insight in the very next sentence - but at least she seems to know she's shit.

Meant to say, if husband had ever been on her salary, I think he´d be retired by now.

Certainly not in debt!

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
