I went and bough a nice beige pair of suede calf boots in the British Heart Foundation for £7 don't think they're any "brand" (they have "made in china" on the bottom
), then I found a lovely next jacket (that's what I'd gone hunting for) a winter jacket for £7Right that was me sorted..........
Until I walked past a new second hand clothes shop (not a Charity shop) that's opened near Morrisons.
There in the window were the most gorgeous pair of pink Timberland boots - in a size 4 1/2 (I'm a 5 - but can fit into some 4's) for just £20.
I went and tried them on and they fitted - they were gorgeous - so rang DH and asked if he thought I should buy them (given I'd already spent £15 on boots and a jacket) and he said yes

So I'm now the proud owner of a pair of these and am walking around like a Cheshire cat
(haven't posted in "style" as they're probably not actually very stylish and didn't want to get told how awful they are
)disclaimer we won't really be eating baked beans on toast for a week as a result - I'll just have to forgo a few of my little "extras".
