My cake is 2.5cm tall.

I am thinking of getting this ribbon

Am I am on the right track? Or should I be looking for something different

TIA

your cake is 2 and a half centimetres tall and you're getting a ribbon that is 7 cm wide?

if you meant 2.5 inches, that is roughly 6.5 cm so that ribbon would be wider than the height of the cake.

sorry, my first time to the hairdresser in the uk was a disaster. I asked her to trim it 2 cm, she did 2 inches, even of my fringe...

sorry, the inch/cm confusion put a smile to my face.

should go to bed. nice ribbon.

QS, that's much worse than a too-wide ribbon!

I knew I'd be rubbish at this. Cannot find a ribbon that is 5cm

Would a 2" ribbon be ok? I can find the same ribbon as above in 2 inches

2 1/2 inches is approx 6.4cm

You may find this useful.

I think a 2" ribbon is fine with a 2.5" cake
